Cap Smiths Reviews

Highly customized artisan keycaps with one-off, small-batch, and bulk corporate order support.

Uses 3D printing, laser engraving, and some metal crafting, which supports intricate and detailed designs.

Markets itself as based in New York City since 2018 and focused on premium mechanical-keyboard accessories.

The site says these methods make custom keycaps more accessible and affordable than traditional manufacturing for detailed designs.

Customer reviews on Etsy are generally very strong, with many comments praising quality, fast delivery, and responsive support.

The company’s own knowledge-base says 3D-printed keycaps can have rougher surfaces, lower durability, quality consistency issues, and labor-intensive post-processing.

The stainless-steel keycap article says metal caps can be heavier and more expensive, with fit/tolerance issues on some switch stems.

The site’s own reviews page currently shows no posted reviews there, so the website itself provides little direct buyer feedback.

Some employment-related reviews mention management issues, stress, and unorganized operations, though these are employee comments rather than customer product reviews.

On the public site, product pricing details are not fully visible from the search results, so assessing value for money from the homepage alone is limited.
